For 20 years Edis-Bates Associates has been running popular, highly practical training seminars open to all company secretarial staff in UK-listed PLCs. Historically, these have covered ‘Hot Topics’ in the summer and ‘Corporate Reporting’ in the Autumn. We have brought in senior industry experts as speakers and provided delegates with comprehensive delegate packs full of practical material such as check lists and user-friendly executive summaries. These seminars have been held in London, usually at the offices of a FTSE100 PLC. We are currently reviewing the format of the seminars we run.

In addition, we have run many in-house training sessions for company secretarial staff and directors within larger UK corporates.

For example, we have run:

  • Seminars for the full company secretarial team.
  • One-to-one induction sessions for newly-appointed company secretaries.
  • Update and induction sessions for PLC and subsidiary directors.

The format is specifically tailored to delegates’ own requirements.
